vintage 1930s black Mondaine lace slip Art Deco bias cut gown 32 / XS
Incredible black sheer gown with lace illusion trim, by Mondaine, circa 1930s vintage.
Art Deco drama with V- neckline and nude mesh lined black lace cups and inset triangular trim at ribcage.
Ankle to full length- based on height, with bias drape and moderately full skirt.
The straps are on the wider side and widen down the upper back to a soft V- shape.
The entire back is sheer, with stellar seamed detailing along the mid back.
Lace hem.
Content isn't noted, this is sheer and looks like a silken weave, though could also be an early rayon blend.
Condition is very good- there is small belt loop on each side waist area, these are black, on seam, and lay flat- simply worth noting as any belt was long ago lost.
There is one small hole on the font center skirt, about knee height, see photo.
Very, very minimal seam straining along the upper waist yolk areas- more that the stitch holes are slightly visible than actual strain to the fabric.
Otherwise excellent- this is exceedingly well kept and stunningly beautiful - as a layered dress or as a nightgown.

17" across the front of the fullest part of the chest - each cup area has about 1.5" additional room / play for breast allowance
30" under bust line (15" across)
