MOD vintage 1960s black leather Go Go boots brass squares 8 1/2 N
Über- MOD black leather Couture label knee high boots, made in Italy, circa 1960s vintage.
Tagged size 8 1/2 N, these fit fairly true to size, please confirm measurements below.
Square toes and blocky/ chunky heels, three brass squares are on the outer legs, as shown.
Inner side "LAMPO" metal zip closures with leather covered elastic gussets at the upper calves for a perfect fit.
Synthetic soles with inset treading at the fronts of the feet.
Really well made and very well kept- these have been in personal collection for about 15 years and are a bit too big for me.
The leather is glossy and supple, with minimal losses.
There is some light wear to the soles, as shown.
The inner mesh backing is a bit gritty, as is common with boots of this era- simply worth noting.
A few light nicks here and there, but these present really well and are super cool!
Measurements:
the insoles/ footbeds are approximately 10- 1/8" heel to toe
the soles are approximately 10- 1/2" heel to toe, 3- 1/4" wide across the balls of the feet
the blocky heels are 2" high
the shafts are 14" high (from back top center seam to top of heels)
the exterior calf circumference is 14- 3/4", with inset gusseting if more room is required
