vintage 1960s violet suede car coat MOD contrast stitch jacket XS- Small
Insanely cool royal violet suede mid length coat, circa late 1960s / very early 1970s.
Large notched lapels, silver snap front, silver zipper pulls on the pockets.
Bold white contrast stitching throughout, fit and flare shape. Attached self belt with silver metal buckle- can be worn facing front or back, as shown.
Round patch pockets with contrast stitching at the hips and on the left upper sleeve.
Horizontal waist seam, diagonal seams from the front shoulders to the outer waist, then from the waist to the front thighs. Vertical seaming down the back; all seams are welted.
Fully lined in black nylon. No labels. Over very good quality- thick and supple suede, in very good condition. A few minor marks and light edge wear- but the color and stitching (and crazy MOD detailing) more than detract from the gentle signs of wear.
An amazing piece!
