vintage 1960s MOD sweater orange Hartog for MAY Co. V- neck knit Mens M
Über - MOD bright orange and white striped sweater, circa 1960s vintage.
Hartog of CA label, known for early surf era designs.
Moderate to deep V- neck with slightly narrower slope.
Set in sleeves.
Straight cuffs and hem with detail banding.
White pinstripe pattern.
Label reads: Made in California by Hartog for MAY Co.
100% acrylic, very fine gauge weave, light to mid weight.
Condition is very good overall- there is a series of very small pin pricks to the right of the top of V- neck, as shown in the last photo. These do not go all the way through the knit, but are worth noting.
Very clean, minor signs of light wear, no other issues to report.
A very rare sweater - this rocks!
