Circa late 1940s - mid 1950s Whiting & Davis alumesh (aluminum mesh) covered handbag in off-white. Larger "links" and softer shape than many earlier models, this is a practical, usable size and shape. Two rounded link handles, zip top, fully lined with an interior pocket. 

All "links" appear to be connected, and in place. Some scuffs, slight color loss here and there, but presents very well. Very cool, highly functional bag!

7.5" across the top edge, 9.5" across the lower body of bag (when laying flat)

2.25" deep at bottom (with contents)

handles have a 6.75" drop - this will comfortably fit on the shoulder of a smaller frame
