Beautiful L'Aiglon embroidered New Look day dress, circa early 1950s vintage- with the red label, as shown.
Wide set neckline with front scallop detailing, cap sleeves.
Streamlined bodice to the fitted waist, matching belt included.
Belt has a based back and covered buckle.
Very full skirt- hits at or just below the knees, based on height.
Covered metal "Talon" zipper up the left side seam.
The cotton base fabric is the palest possible pink with an ivory undertone, the swirl embroidery is a peachy- pink color.
Condition is very, very good- there are a few very minor marks here and there but they do not detract.
Dress is very well kept and very clean- belt is original and included. Ideal for spring functions- or even as a more casual wedding dress.
