Hand made Zandra Rhodes button back denim skirt, circa early 1980s vintage.
Swirly, bleached out pattern with some paint overlay on a dark and soft 100% cotton denim, mid weight.
Applique patches and ruffled, tiered hem complete the wild and whimsical look.
Falls to about knee length, A- lined shape to the mid thighs, with three tiered sections attached along the lower body.
The first and third tier are denim, the middle tier is Pleats- Please effect polyester, with narrow pleat detailing all around.
Pale lilac floral mitof, edged in hot pink thread, attached with a band of hot pink velvet.
Geometric mirrors are prong set onto the skirtall around the denim tiers.
Overlay patches with botto designs are embroidered on the upper side hips.
"a lily" patch with a lily is embroidered on the top tier, right side.
Two rows of fraying above the tiered area.
Seven buttons up the back center, all are antiqued brass tone metal and in place.
Label dates to the very early 1980s, content is 100% cotton, "made by hand in England".
