Black woven wool melange double faced pencil skirt with welted, angled side seams and inset silver lurex lightning bolts! Like commas for the hips, this is surprisingly Body- Con for Mr. Beene. 1980s vintage label, tagged size 12, but fit is a bit smaller, do confirm below.

Banded waist with hidden hook closure and hidden zip at back center.Fullest through the hips and a bit tapered to the hem, hits at or just above knees, based on height. Subtle front darting. Back center welted seam from zipper bottom to hem. Welted seam surround on each side of the silver lurex slices, forming one seam at the lowest point, and angling to the front lower thighs. Unlined, material is designed to cling a bit.

Condition is very, very good. Wool is flawless. The furry silver metallic lurex "fur" overlays the wool, and there is a bit of very slight lifting/ pull away along the edges- minor but worth noting. 

An exceedingly cool and rare Geoffrey Beene New York piece- amazing!

29"- 31" waist (14.5" across, but the wool does have some give and this should have a snug fit)
